First of all, the pit fights have a lot of opponents repeating and i wish they would had been all different. Now that is not to say the game is flawless. We were not really like today on a point where 2d beat em all got popular again (with release of brand new games in that style like SOF4) This was expected in the 3D era to experiment and try it differently. I mean it plays completely differently yes, but thats like comparing Mortal Kombat 3 to Mortal Kombat Deception. This game is usually hated by most peoples, and the reason, wich i personally find silly, is that its not really "Final Fight". Altough i enjoyed Beatdown too, the game felt a lot harder and it plays a bit different. Its also the only game that has a gameplay of that kind beside another Capcom game call Beatdown Fist of Vengeance. But basically you can go around, do some side quests, participate in Pit Fights, learn new moves and spare at the gym etc The game reminded me a bit of Shenmue if it happened in the dirtiest hood of the USA instead of Japan lol. I really enjoyed the game a LOT (minus the ending, more on this later, and ill keep it spoiler free). The first time was around 2010 or 2011 (can't remember exactly) but it was on a 360 by way of Backward Compatibility. Yesterday i finished Final Fight Streetwise for the second time.
